Freie Gedanken is designed as a modest German commentary and observation project. We collect general leads, local motifs and puzzling stories without turning them into quick certainties.

The site is deliberately not loud, glossy or aggressive. Topics such as sky lights, lake monsters, underground rooms, media routines and regional observations are sorted here in a factual way. Düsseldorf plays a special role because many internal links can later be built around the city.

Our principle is simple: check slowly rather than claim quickly. Anyone who wants to share an observation can use the “Report a tip” link in the footer.
